Balnafettach is a small family-run farm situated on the outskirts of the village of Cromdale, in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Highlands and located within the fantastic Cairngorms National Park.

PLEASE NOTE:  As of May 2018 we have retired from active farming and as such cannot host visitors to the farm or offer animal training experiences on our farm

We farmed one of the oldest Scottish native cattle breeds, pure Highland Cattle (long hair and big horns!) and small flocks of Texel and Jacob sheep.

Farming for us was not just about raising cattle and sheep but also nurturing traditional and rare breeds, while managing and developing the wonderful natural environment in which Balnafettach is situated (see Balnafettach Farm).
